karen cooper, guest speaker

Born and raised on the coastal shores of Southern California, Karen Cooper would say her favorite pastime was watching the waves roll in with her toes tucked into the soft warm sand. So, it came as quite a surprise when God called the Coopers to pastor a small country church in the rolling wheat fields of Eastern Washington. With two small children in tow they took the leap of faith, sold their home and would now say wholeheartedly that they are deeply rooted in the lives of their church family and community.

After 36 years of multifaceted ministry, her most rewarding times have been working with women and teens. Decorating the church and parsonage have been enjoyable sidelines as well! While keeping Jesus at the helm of her heart, she is thankful to her husband, children, and grandchildren for their love, support, and inspiration throughout life’s journey. Karen’s other interests include homemaking, designing, sewing, painting, writing, gardening, and all things CREATIVE. She has also co-authored three children’s books.
